What battery do I need for
my boat?
This is a question that is
asked of us more oten than most! Your battery is one of the most important
things on your boat but is the most ignored. We see old car batteries that
have been found in the shed powering 16-17' boats. These are generally
the same boats we see get towed back because "the bloody motor wouldnt
turn over!". When buying a battery for your boat be aware that car batteries
normally cant cut it. They are not designed for the harsh pounding that
your boat can give. We recommend and use the Century Marine Pro range of
batteries. Century batteries comprehensive range of marine batteries have
been designed for your Marine Power needs. With Century quality you
can rely on starting your boat motor, running the accessories on board
and getting you back safely. Choose from this outstanding range.

Century Marine Pro Batteries
are specially designed to handle the rigors of pounding from heavy seas.
A car battery is not suitable for Marine use. Safety is very important
when out on the water.
The heavy power needs of
some Optional Electrics may require the additional support of a Dual Battery
System, which includes a Deep Cycle Battery. For information on Dual Battery
Systems, and calculating the correct power needs of your boat, drop us
